From 1907 to 1912 he was head of the Austro-Hungarian counter-espionage service (the Evidenzbureau), but in 1913, soon after he left that post he was exposed as a Russian spy, and was allowed to commit suicide.

But before I get to the news of the day, I think I& 39;d like to discuss a little bit of the coverage of the last 24 hours.
Edward C. DalyEdward C. Daly born 27 April 1914 in Pink Hill- N.C. enlisted in the Navy 13 February 1934. Coxswain Daly was killed 7 December 1941 while serving in Downes& 39; (DD-375), damaged in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for his courageous and daring attempt to rescue a wounded shipmate trapped in a flaming compartment of the ship.
